Christy James is passionate about hair. After many years of retail management, she took a leap of faith to change careers and become a haircare professional. She is a graduate of Amazon Natural Look Academy in Chicago where she excelled in her study and mastery of natural hair styling. Christy loves performing styles that enhance the natural beauty of the kids in our community.

Shavonne Patterson
HAIR BRAIDER
Shavonne Patterson has served the S4K mission for three years. Her journey started with us as a braiding assistant; now Licensed Hair Braider. Shavonne is a graduate of Amazon Natural Look Academy and has a BA in International French. Her passion for helping kids ignites her commitment to creating styles that light up the faces of all the kids we serve. She is committed, faithful, and talented--a true asset to the S4K salon team.

Crystal Wilder
COSMETOLOGIST
Crystal Wilder is a mom and Licensed Cosmetologist who loves to style natural hair in blow out styles. Fun facts about Crystal is that she reads, writes and skates in her spare time. She is a great addition to the S4K team and brings 10 years experience to the team. She is excited most about the Styles4Kidz mission to teach all about hair care in addition to the styling for parents and kids.

HAIR BRAIDER
Latoya is living her dream of being a stylist at Styles 4 Kidz. As a wife and a mom, she loves family and understands every mom's journey to understand how to care for their kid's hair. Latoya graduated from professional hair braiding school in 2022 but has always loved performing beautiful hairstyles on children and adults for over 20 years. She loves to read in her spare time and perfect her craft.

COSMETOLOGIST
Leticia grew up struggling with her own hair care. Over the years, she began helping friends, family, and neighbors with their hair as she learned how to care for her own. In recent years, Leticia decided to pursue a professional career in hair styling and has combined her talents with her love for children. She is most excited about helping parents learn and grow in her role at Styles 4 Kidz, spending her spare time with family, and growing in her own styling abilities.

LISCENSED BARBER
Jon is a dad who loves working with kids and has ten years of experience as a barber. He is a graduate of Larry's Barber College, and in his spare time, he likes to play sports, including hand cycling and rock climbing. He is enthusiastic about joining the Styles 4 Kidz team!

COSMETOLOGIST
Latrice Johnson has over 10 years of experience in the styling industry. As a mom, she has genuine compassion for children and loves Styles 4 Kidz's mission. Latrice will be joining the Network of Trainers in 2025, as she is also a licensed educator. She loves hairstyling and makes a great addition to the Styles 4 Kidz team.
