Hair Care for Pre-Teens and Teens
Join Yakarah Styles for a hair care lesson for teens. No prep work or styling will be done by the stylist. Instructional lesson only! Your teen will work on their own hair.
Level 4: Advanced Hair Care Class “Cornrow Updo”
REGISTER FOR THIS COURSE ONLY IF YOU HAVE TAKEN LEVEL 1, 2, and 3
In this class, you will learn how to do basic cornrows into a ponytail and learn how to finish off the style. Your parting technique will be practiced and perfected in this class.
Length: Approximately 1.5-2 hours.

In this class, you will learn how to combine free-standing double-strand and flat twists into a style. Materials needed include a rat tail comb, Shine ‘n Jam, and hair pins.
Length: Approximately 1.5-2 hours.
Level 3: Hair Braiding Hands-On Workshop
REGISTER FOR THIS COURSE ONLY IF YOU HAVE TAKEN LEVEL 2
Parents learn how to create simple braiding styles on textured hair; Individual Braiding, and Two Cornrows.
Participating children should have clean, detangled, and loose hair.
