Ryan Liebl is an accomplished attorney, business leader, and longtime advocate for children and families. He is a Partner at Mayer Brown LLP, where he advises public and private companies on executive compensation, employee benefits, and complex business matters. Prior to his legal career, Ryan served as a Captain in the United States Army, bringing a lifelong commitment to leadership, service, and excellence.
As the father of four transracially adopted children, Ryan has experienced firsthand the challenges and opportunities that come with raising Black children in a transracial family. His family's journey led him to Styles 4 Kidz during the organization's earliest days, making him one of the first families to benefit from its services and community.
In fact, Ryan was the second Styles 4 Kidz client, receiving support even before the organization was formally established in 2011. Having witnessed the organization's growth from a grassroots effort to a nationally recognized nonprofit, he has remained a passionate champion of its mission to help children build confidence, cultural pride, and healthy identities through hair care education and support.
Today, Ryan serves as National Board Chair, helping lead Styles 4 Kidz into its next chapter of national growth and impact. His unique perspective as an early client, adoptive parent, and strategic leader provides invaluable insight as the organization expands its reach to serve families across the country. Ryan is committed to ensuring that more adoptive, foster, kinship, and biracial families have access to the education, resources, and community that have made a difference in his own family's life.
